TV (Ex-Madsummer, Project Bermuda)

LENGTH: 257ft. 2in. (78.4m)
SHIPYARD: Lürssen, Germany
YEAR: 2008

This Espen Øino-designed yacht is the former American-owned Madsummer. Along with the new name comes a new hull paint, which was done at the Rybovich yard in Palm Beach, Florida. Gone is the pale-blue hull color scheme, but designer Alberto Pinto’s elegant and colorful summer-home interior décor remains. The CEO of a Mexican television consortium now reputedly owns TV, which is available for charter. Espen Øino, who has collaborated with Lürssen on many builds, gave the ex-Madsummer exceptional interior volume inside a discreet envelope. In addition to four main-deck guest suites, the yacht has an owners’ deck with a panoramic master bedroom. Guests have a wide choice of accommodations among the nine cabins. Entertainment areas include a spacious sundeck with swim-up bar, a pool with contra-flow jet, and beach area with sauna. The yacht has twin Caterpillar engines giving her a 17-knot top speed and an advanced sound and vibration features guaranteeing a quiet ride.
